This about sums it up.
Sounds like Chad Gadya…
I have an uncle whose 2nd wife has a sister whose husband knows Barak Obama.
Everybody’s preaching to the choir these days. Now get in front of a decision maker in business and say all the above.
They’ll reply… “Yeah, great!! Just leave you information next to the trash can I’ll be sure to look at. it.”
Right. But sometimes the choir members are decision-makers too!
This is a huge issue with many companies who simply believe tweeting, sharing and blogging solves all marketing problems. Sadly, the biggest missing link is simply a strategy or direction about their objective with social media. If your goal for social media is ‘Sales,’ you truly do not get it and should be ashamed of yourself as a marketer. Let me stop preaching to the choir as previously mentioned.
Overall, I love the infographic!!! Very needed
Agreed. Though I think sales is a fine goal. In fact, I think many have started on that misdirected path without the goal of “sales” and have had to stop due to lack of funds.
The thing is, you can’t be salesy. Money comes from people, in the end.
