We announced via email a few weeks ago (if you didn’t get it, sign up here) that Moskoff Media has hired us to make a short featurette film.
Can you say, “totally, radically, out-of-this-world awesome”? Yeah, that’s what we said.
Mr. Moskoff had hired us to create a concept, and then, thank Gd, he also decided that he wanted us to produce it. Now we are in the throes of revising the concept and script, and can I tell you this is tough stuff! The story changes daily and we almost get into fistfights over it!
To illustrate how complicated it is, here’s a little “outline” or “flowchart” I made:
Does that make any sense to you at all? It will in time. It will probably change by tomorrow, too.
Thankfully our friend Yariv Newman told us to buy this book: Save the Cat! Goes to the Movies. We bought it in triplicate. One for me, one for Shmuel, and one just in case.
This book has been our lifesaver. If you’re writing a screenplay, you MUST BUY THIS BOOK.
Here’s a link to it on Amazon.
So, as we merrily roll along, I hope you get as excited about this as we are!
UPDATE: Here’s Layla O’Shea, our new screenwriter, who’s helping us turn this gibberish into English.
