It turned out that the group had been subscribed to a number of RSS newsfeeds, which were automatically flooding the group discussions with posts. These RSS not attached to human discussions just felt spammy, and I wasn’t the only one who thought so – I was getting messages from group members asking how we could stop the flood!
So, how to get rid of them? Turns out, it’s actually super simple.
1. Click on the ‘Manage’ tab in your group.
2. Then just click on ‘News feeds’ in the menu on the left hand side.
3. All the feeds will be listed there, and you can choose what stays and what goes.
