Be the first in your friends to like itBack in December – has it been that long? – on our Facebook fan page, we let all our followers vote on which non-profit we’d give $1000 to. We got hundreds of responses, and we announced the runner-up back then, and posted the video that Shmuel made with Edan Pinchot (now on America’s Got Talent) for NCSY.
Today we are proud to announce the first place winners, with over 300 votes: Chabad on Campus! Chabad on Campus is a totally worthy cause (as all of the causes we promote are, of course) so we were very happy to write them a check for $1,000 just before the end of the fiscal year. :) Chabad on Campus provides Jewish students in colleges all across the country with Jewish inspiration, resources, and friends.
Each year they host a weekend in Crown Heights. This past year when we were there I think there were about 1,000 students from all over the country. This video was shown at the Chabad on Campus Kinus HaShluchim this past week – so finally we can share it all with you!

You guys have shown that in the spiraling downward American Jewry there’s a group that, against all odds, is raising seemingly distant Jews into a vibrant, meaningful Judaism. Thanks for giving us that glimpse of hope.
